AN UNEXPECTED END
ABOUT:
An Unexpected End (AUE) is an independent folk-rock group from Plum Coulee, Canada passionate about creating honest and sincere music. The band is composed of vocalist John Wiebe, guitarist Dylan Wiebe, drummer Brendan Elias, and producer Evan StCyr.
AUE released their debut single, “Johnny,” in 2018.
In an exploratory project they refer to as “Lost Thoughts,” the band went on to release eleven singles over the following years, concluding the series in 2023 with the thought-provoking “Face of Love / Closure.”
After touring across Canada as the opening act for a Juno Award–winning band, the group returned to the studio to record their latest single, “All Together in Denver.”
The single is accompanied by a music video featuring the actual couple from the Denver wedding that inspired the song.
The band is currently working on a full-length album, projected for release in 2026.
