ABOUT:
An Unexpected End (AUE) is an independent folk-rock group from Plum Coulee, Canada passionate about creating honest and sincere music. The band is composed of vocalist John Wiebe, guitarist Dylan Wiebe, drummer Brendan Elias, and producer Evan StCyr.
AUE released their debut single, “Johnny,” in 2018 and in the following years released a number of songs in a project they refer to as "Lost Thoughts."
After touring across Canada as the opening act for a Juno Award–winning band, the group returned to the studio to record their latest single, “All Together in Denver.”
The band is currently working on a full-length album.
Mixing their folk-beginnings with some rocky elements the album is reminiscent of early 2000s groups such as The Fray and is set for release next year.
